| | Just three miles today to start easing into it. I ran mostly on the turf other than the two four hundreds we did for pre meet. My foot felt pretty good! At first it was hurting, but as I kept going it loosened up and felt great!

| | I only went 4 cause I had to run at like 8:50, so I didn't have a ton of time. I just ran to the track to do pre meet since I'm gonna be in Boston this weekend and so have to race tomorrow. It was a little weird running in pitch black, but pretty fun too!

| | Pretty much the coolest run ever today! I ran with my mom from our hotel up to the top of Bunker Hill, where one of the first battles in the Revolution was fought. There was a pretty cool monument we stopped and looked at. We then ran across the Hudson River and onto the Freedom Trail. We ran past multiple cemeteries that are over 300 years old, past the Old North Church, Paul Revere's house, etc. It was cool because it was all pretty much brick and cobblestone streets plus it was super hilly so that was fun. Turned around at 3.5 and headed back to the hotel.

| | Just a nice run through Charlestown today. We then went and watched the Boston Marathon and cheered on my dad. It was such a cool race! People were lining the streets for miles and it was soooo crazy! My dad did pretty good. Not his best, but he was happy with it because he didn't have as much training as he is usually used to.

| | Today didn't go quite as planned. I woke up and felt a little funny all morning but went out and tried to do the hill work out I missed yesterday. I only made it through the first set before it ended pretty badly... I had to go to the Heaps house to use their bathroom and then felt so awful I could barely make it home. I'm going to try to finish it on the bike later, but I'm still just kinda sitting on the ground in my house feeling like crap. 😁

| | 8 miles today with a pretty big group. It was super fun cause it was a recovery day and we took it real slow, about 8 minute miles except the last mile which we dropped to under 7. Connor was commentating the last mile, so Asa pulled out a big finish and won. While running we finished planning Prom and messed around a ton. It was a pretty great run!

Herriman duel (1 Miles) 00:04:55 | | Finally did it! Official time of 4:55.32. Felt super good the whole race so it was awesome. Shoutout to thom for pacing me! Afterwards I did the 800 and got 2:16 which isn't super good but I was pretty happy about it. Then I didn't get to finish my miles cause I had to go home teaching and was there for THREE HOURS. I'm not super happy with my companion rn.

| | Had to run on my own cause I had piano right after school. It was good, but my legs were pretty sore and tight.

| | Speed today since I am not racing tomorrow. I did three sets of four 400s that were supposed to be at two seconds slower than mile pace, mile pace, and then two seconds faster than mile pace. My splits were 71, 73, 72, 72, 70, 67, 71, 70, 67, 69, 69, and 71. Pacing was a little all over the place but I was pretty happy with it since I was supposed to being hitting 76s the first set, 74s the second, and 72s the last and I was faster than that the whole time. Cooled down to 8.

| | This was the first time I have hit double digits for a while, so it felt really nice! Also, our day date for prom yesterday was super fun and I'm super pumped for tonight!
